Smart Cookie - clay personalised pet Christmas Bauble

In Victorian England highly decorated biscuits were very much en-vogue, Sarah has caught the bug of creating 3D pieces of art but instead of them only lasting a few days, these little clay wonders will last a life time.  Sarah has designed four stunningly beautiful and complimentary patterns to bring a touch of wonder to your Christmas tree. Every detail has been carefully considered and each bone is made by hand, to order. Each design is put together by hand, no moulds or cheats are used. Letter stamps are used to spell the names of the pets to ensure consistency. These are individual works of art that take considerable time to complete. As such during busy periods we may have to offer a waiting list system as we do for our clay doll ornaments / cake toppers.
These are perfect presents to gift someone very special who has a big piece of their heart dedicated to their dog(s). For dog lovers and art lovers alike they make a truly unique and one off gift.
Each decoration is presented in a brown telescopic presentation box which can be used to store this ornament and is big enough to store other precious baubles. We have considered every detail, including using waxed twine to hang the bauble. This twine is usually reserved for leather work but its strength will ensure that your bauble cannot break or fall from the tree. During the process of making the bones each section is sanded to perfection to create a flawless finish, further adding to the visual illusion mimicking flooded royal icing. The biscuit layer underneath the icing is breathtakingly realistic even down to the little crumb edge which is seen when baking real gingerbread. Sarah used real gingerbread biscuits as inspiration and  reproduced every detail with painstaking patience. Pastel chalk has been used to create the browning two tone effect seen on real biscuits. The overall all finish is flawless and of an extremely high quality which is consistent across all of Sarah’s art work. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PET DECORATION?

We know you are eager to get your hands on your personalised gift, but this a hand made bespoke item and it takes us a little time to work our magic. You will receive your item 5-7 working days after purchase. Your order will be despatched using Royal Mail tracked 48 courier service and you will be sent tracking updates. On the day of delivery you will receive a text message notification.  If for any reason you are not present when delivery is attempted, they will leave a card with information on your nearest Royal Mail depot where you will be able to collect.  Unframed prints are despatched using Royal Mail standard letter service

HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS

There is a choice of 4 designs frames, each made from polymer clay, paint, gold leaf and pastals. We care just as much about our packaging as we do our art work, each decoration is gift wrapped in acid free white tissue paper, with Corkymandle branding, making your final gift extra special.  We use specialist frame postal boxes which are almost indestructible making for a safe delivery.  However, if you suffer a breakage we will be happy to replace quickly and naturally free of charge.
